High School

HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM

To date, only the world’s leading athletes and their organizations have benefited from the recent breakthroughs in the field of sport science, which leads to a massive, injury free, competitive advantage. PrecisionSports makes this new generation of sport science methodology available to adolescent-athletes of the San Francisco Bay Area, particularly Silicon Valley. PrecisionSports cares as much about its high school athletes achieving long, healthy careers and maximizing their sports performance as we do about our college athletes. PrecisionSports detailed high school training approach is based upon:

  • Injury Prevention & Reduction
  • Collegiate Sport Preparation
  • Adolescent Exercise Science & Long Term Athlete Development
  • Data Science & Analytics

During the first half of high school (freshman and sophomore years), puberty status and physical maturity are large determinants of sports performance and as well as certain fitness attributes for the adolescent athlete. Not all adolescents have the same body or the same response to physical training. They are unique organisms that require individualized training prescriptions and personalized progressions as we prepare them for competing in college sports whether they have a scholarship or not. Athletes strength and conditioning progress is objectively monitored throughout the process to ensure outcomes are specific to immediate high school needs and/or future college sports goals. The following items are potential components featured in a high school athlete’s personalized program depending on the athlete’s biological age, sport, position, stage of puberty, and any fitness training background he/she may have. Parents of adolescents commonly seek our services for the following needs:

  • Strength Training
  • Sprint Acceleration/Deceleration Mechanics
  • Standing/Approach Vertical Jump Training
  • Speed/Power Training
  • Agility/Change of Direction Mechanics
  • Injury Prevention and Corrective Orthopedic Exercise
  • Sport-specific Conditioning
  • Core Stability Training

Elementary / Middle School

ABOUT ELEMENTARY / MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAM

Over the past decade, advancements in the field of sport science have created massive performance advantages far greater than imagined. Precision Sports is the first and only facility to make this new generation of sport science training methodology available to pediatric/child-athletes of the San Francisco Bay Area, particularly Silicon Valley. An elementary or middle school athlete will leave precision’s academy with a high degree of physical literacy, enhanced confidence, and the knowledge of proper exercise/fitness habits which they will carry with them throughout life. This enables the young athlete not only to move well and create a healthy lifestyle but it also affords them a competitive athletic advantage in during school years while staying injury-free. Elementary/middle school athletes often lack physical/athletic literacy as well as confidence. Therefore we’ve made it a priority to ensure athletes who go through our strength and conditioning program obtain athletic literacy and self confidence. This leaves them feeling much more comfortable in their own body thus leaving behind any physical insecurities they may have previously had. We care as much about our elementary/middle school athletes achieving long, healthy careers and maximizing sports performance as we do our high school and college athletes. Most importantly, our academy’s staff places a premium on presenting ourselves in a manner that reinforces our status as role models for impressionable young athletes. Precision Sports detailed elementary/middle school training approach is based on the tenants of:

  • Child Psychology & Well Being
  • Confidence Building
  • High School Sport Preparation
  • Injury Prevention & Reduction
  • Pediatric Exercise Science & Long Term Athlete Development Model
  • Data Science & Analytics

For child student-athletes, genetic baseline and physical maturity are large determinants of sports performance and certain fitness attributes. Not all children have the same body or the same response to physical training. Children are not “mini-adults” – they are unique organisms that require individualized training prescriptions and personalized progressions as we prepare them for competing in high school varsity sports, while at the same time giving them a competitive edge for middle school. As their bodies mature and enter adolescence, their individualized programs shift to reflect the needs of their unique growth and sport(s) of choice. This solidifies the fundamentals of athleticism and future success as a high school varsity athlete. The following items are potential components featured in a elementary/middle school athlete’s program, and are commonly sought after by local parents:

  • Speed/Power Training
  • Running Acceleration/Deceleration Mechanics
  • Agility/Change of Direction Mechanics
  • Sport-specific Conditioning
  • Core Stability Training
  • Strength Training (weights or bodyweight depending on puberty stage)
  • Injury Prevention and Corrective Orthopedic Exercise

An Objective Method

The Programs

A youth athlete is NOT just a “mini adult”. They’re bodies require unique and different training methodologies than post-puberty bodies. Therefore, Precision Sports(™) system of physical training and performance coaching begins with a comprehensive assessment of an athlete. This includes their athletic fitness, medical injury history, physiology, biomechanics, and current lifestyle factors. Then, using data analytics and technology, we design an individualized program that is objectively monitored throughout the training to optimize results that are specific and personalized to the needs and goals of the athlete.

With our data-driven sports performance solutions, we make sure every one of our youth athletes receives the exact prescription they need without extraneous interventions. PrecisionSports provides an invaluable and revolutionary sports training solution to elementary school, middle school, high school, and college athletes throughout Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay Area who seek to maximize their performance outcomes and build confidence while minimizing injuries and/or setbacks. Longevity isn’t only a concern for adult athletes—youth athletes should also be set up to enjoy a rewarding, fulfilling, and as injury-free as possible sports experience over the long term.
